Solving the big challenges in logistics
In addition to the daily challenges of logistics, our long-term goal is to solve one of the biggest problems in logistics: the inefficiency of empty and underloaded vehicles. In Finland, approximately 450 million kilometers are driven empty each year in road freight transport. In addition, the load capacity of transports is only about 60–80%.* This means that only slightly more than half of the total capacity of heavy transport in Finland is utilized.
We have developed technology that enables the use of empty driving resources! For larger loads, our customers can choose whether they want to utilize empty runs in their transport, in which case Kuormat.com's new technology will search for an empty vehicle for the transport. If an empty vehicle is found, this saves both the environment and costs!
